Ultrathin Gold Nail Ornaments

Hello guys. I'm back with a nail look I enjoyed. This is the first time I'm trying out this type of nail decorations. If you're wondering how come my nails are so short, the reason is, well, my nails got so damaged that I had to take a break and just use treatments and wait until they get back to normal. But thing are getting better already.

Ombre Nails: Green Edition

Ola everyone! Happy Weekend! Time for a nail look, and it's Ombre nails, yet again. What can I say, I love them, and I don't care if I'm becoming repetitive. I honestly feel like my nails are so boring when they're not Ombre. I love this trend!

Products used:
Base: Avon, Nail Experts, Peeling and brittleness solver -This base dries out my nails and leaves them brittle. I do not recommend.
Colors (wearing 2 coats all):
Thumb: Eveline, miniMAX, no. 808 - This polish did not sit well with me. It's very thick and gives uneven texture once dry. It also dries very slowly.
Pointer: Catrice, 240 Sold Out For Ever - This polish has tiny glitter particles in it, that's the reason why I don't like it very much. It also has somewhat of a pearl effect - I don't like that either.
Middle: Catrice, 590 Jade Is Not My Name - A shade right in between blue and green.
Ring: Catrice, 340 Run Forest Run! - The color of grass. Loving it, this is a true green.
Small: Catrice , 340 Run Forest Run! (small print) - Very dark shade, it looks almost black. BTW, yes, these two last polishes have the same name. Catrice made a mistake and gave two different shades the same name, they made this mistake about three times if I remember correctly.

Ring: I got this gorgeous thing (I love the bling!) at a random store in Zagreb, Radićeva for a bargain.

This nail look lasted about 5 days, and all this without a top coat! However, I always recommend having a topcoat when wearing Ombre, because it helps tie everything together in one look. It would be a great idea to do some stamping on these nails as well, just to tie it all together even better.

Sorry for the bad quality photos, for some reason this nail look did not photograph well *sadface*. So, let me hear it: are you guys getting sick of the Ombre nail looks?

These Nails Suck - But So Does The Finale Of HIMYM

Products used for this look:
Smart girls get more, no.36 - this polish is watery, but it shows you how a brand doesn't mean anything because this polish is light years better than the Maybelline green from this post. I'm wearing 3 coats, but 2 are enough. Downside - it's slow drying, but the finish is amazing - it's very smooth. I have this polish a long time, and the texture is still great. SGGM has some good polishes.
Maybelline COLORAMA, Neons, no.190 - what you're seeing on these pictures are 3 layers - and it's still transparent. I was wearing a base coat, and this horrible polish STILL painted my nails green! Disgusting. It has a matte finish, and is long lasting, but I would not recommend this polish. I got it on sale for less than a euro, so that's fine. I might use it over some other green polish, but never again solo. One of the worst polishes I've ever tried.

Now, let's talk about the How I Met Your Mother finale. I wanted to wait a while so that everyone had time to find out what had happened, so that noone would be upset because there were
SPOILERS.
Honestly, if you by now do not know how the show ended, it's not my fault you live under a rock.

So, Ted Mosby turned out to be a creep, pervert, psychopath, and (probably) murderer. He was obsessed with a woman (Robin) that wanted nothing to do with him - she refused to have kids with him (I guess she didn't love him enough), and she slept with his best friend - he even watched them get married. So he finds some poor chick, gets her pregnant, uses her to have kids (but never even likes her). When the kids are old enough (they're no longer babies, because Robin hates children), he kills his wife off (most likely), and then as soon as she's dead, gets back the chick he always wanted. Disgusting.
Yeah yeah, I know I'm exaggerating (obviously), but seriously, what the hell???!!!
I think the whole show was wrongly marketed - I think the title of the show was misleading. You know, when someone asks their father ''how did you meet our mother'' - than the father usually tells them the story of how he met their mother. He does not use the opportunity to tell them how he wants to bang their aunt. And how he doesn't give a shit about their mother. I mean, the scenario of how the kids are OK with this - it would never happen in real life. His kids would detest him.
I mean, those poor kids just wanted to know how he met their mother - and he won't even give them that. He spends his time talking about how he really loved another person the whole time (even if she never liked him at all), how he only used their mother as a baby-making machine, and is asking his kids' permission to f*** someone else.
Ted and Robin probably killed the mother together. Ted got his kids (which was what he wanted), and Robin gets Ted and doesn't have to lose her good figure. So gross. The show should have been called ''How I killed your mother and now I'll ask you to support me while I f*** that bitch that helped me get rid of your mom (most likely)''. The whole show made us think that it will be a story about how a couple got together, but really, it's a story about a guy who has kids with some sorry girl he hates, and he can't wait until she's dead so he can f*** other people.
Gross.
Leave your thoughts below, and let me know what you think. Are you disappointed? Do you think Ted is a murderer? Do you think he ever even loved the mother or was he just using her as a baby making machine? Do you think Robin is the greatest slut that ever lived? Do you think the show will now be hated amongst all the previous fans? Let me know.

Thanks for stopping by,

love, Jelena

Panda Nails - KKCenterHk Review

Products used for this look
Essence Studio Nails 24/7 nail base - I'm not sure if this is still available. I don't like it, this polish always mixes with the nail polish I put over it, and ruins the entire look. Besides, some polishes would stain my nails even despite this base, so it doesn't do a very good job. But it looks amazing by itself - it's a transparent matte shade ;)
3 x Maybelline COLORAMA 51 - Too transparent for my taste, but the texture is good. Unfortunately, it's very slow drying, which is why there's a dent on my thumb.
Essence studio nails, better than gel nails, top sealer - This one is not good for water decals, the brush is rough and it pulls them and damages them, otherwise it's a good product, these essence top coats are really great.
Maybelline COLORAMA Polka Dots, 197 - Worn on the small finger, I'm loving this polish, it's amazing and very cute.

N.NAIL Baby TarePanda Water Decals Nail Art [NNAIL-WDSY778] from KKCenterHk
Link for this product: HERE
I'm LOVING these water decals, they're so easy to use, and they look amazing. The leaves are so pretty, and who doesn't like pandas? What ruined this look is the top coat, which has a very rough brush, and it damaged my panda (#sadface), so I was careful with other nails and I made it work. I need to use a different top coat next time. Overall, I love water decals, they make your nails look fabulous in a few seconds, and they're very easy to use. I highly recommend them.

What do you think of this look? Panda nails - Yay or Nay? Thanks for stopping by, see you soon

KKCenterHk Review: N.NAIL 2.5mm Circle Glitter In Gold

Happy Tuesday! Today I will talk about a KKCenterHk product: N.NAIL 2.5mm Circle Glitter in Gold (NNAIL-HSA1-2-5mm). Follow this LINK to go to their website for more info about this product.
I used nail glue to attach them so they were really well fixed. I'm really loving this product. They are really sparkly, so they glam up any look. On their website you have such a huge variety of colors to choose from, I chose gold because I love the sparkle. Here's a link so you can see all the shades available for this product: LINK. The circle glitter comes in a little container, and you're set for life. You get a ton of these, so they are a good investment. They're 2.5mm wide, so they didn't stick out. I'm wearing them here in a straight line, but you can just place them randomly (like bubbles), or cover your entire nail with them (for extra sparkle).
Here's what you get when you buy this, told you it's a lot of product. I like to play with it, it looks a tiny pot of gold!
The polish I'm wearing is by dm's brand S-he stylezone, shade 312, you can check it out on this LINK

Perfect Zombie Green

Happy Monday! I'm wearing a gorgeous mossy-green shade. When I put it on, I thought it was really the color of zombie's faces. So, yeah, it's great for Halloween. It's by dm's own brand, S-he stylezone, shade 312 (121/312). I got this polish a few months back because it was on discount, and I'm loving it. I'm wearing two coats because the texture is quite watery. It did not stain my nails. It dried super fast. Once it was dry, it had a beautiful smooth texture. The brush is a bit weird, but I was able to work with it. Recommendation: file the surface of your nails before application because, like I said, this polish is watery, so you want a perfect canvas.
Upgraded look will be up tomorrow ;) See you then. Don't forget to follow me - all the links are to the right.

Why Does This Remind Me Of A Turtle ?

Ok, can anyone explain to me why this look reminds me of a turtle? I dont think it has anything to do with turtles...right? Anyway, here I'm wearing 2 coats of Eveline's Mini Max no.808 (a beautiful minty shade, but I'm not liking it very much, it has a very thick texture), and the blue dots are by Deborah, no.30 'Electric Bluejeans' (old collection).
Until next time, have a great day ;)

Almost Lizards

This look would have been awesome - if only the lizards transferred good. Oh well, you cant have it all. What I tried to do is have a different color lizard on every finger - but some polishes didn't work well for stamping, so the lizards were horribly maimed, poor little guys. :( I'd say the ring finger is the only decent looking one. Image of polishes used in the bottom of the post. The black stars I bough from Essence, though I havent seen them on the racks recently. I did not use nail glue to attach the stars, just clear polish and they held on for 3 days. Though, I would recommend nail glue if you want more durability.

Green With Gold Glitter

Hello everyone! Here I wore Essence 54 'Trust In Fashion' from the old collection - a beautiful dark green shade. This shade is very difficult to photograph, it looks one was under sunlight, one way indoors. One coat is enough, though it will look a bit transparent, but 2 coats chip very easily. Without top coat it will last you a day and a half. Also, please note, you MUST wear base coat because this baby will dye your nails green. Yuck! The polish on my accent nail is also Essence, number 67, 'Make It Golden'. Come to think of it, this look would be great for st. Patrick's day, and it's so simple to do. Anyway, see you guys later, xoxo

Double Green

Hello all! Very simple look here: pinky and ringfinger: Catrice's 'It's Rambo No.5', the rest also Catrice's 'Sir! Yes, Sir!' (I believe both these polishes are now discontinued). Turned out a very military look. Two coats both, but I really dont like Rambo, it's too transparent for my taste. They both dry super fast. When I wore this look the weather was dark and gloomy, so this look was a perfect match. All in all, this is not one of my favorite looks, it makes my hands look...tired? LOL Anyway, see you all in the next post xoxo

Sephora fall look

Hey girls! To be honest, I was never too crazy about Sephora polishes, they were just never really my thing. Even though the end result here was nice, I still dont enjoy working with these polishes - they're too thick for my taste, and also I'm not a fan of the brush....but the green is gorgeous though, I cant deny that! ;) Anyway, the colors are 'Military Jacket' (the dark green one) and 'City Amazon' (the grey one). I got these babies in a pack of 3 polishes and they're kind of growing on me. Do you enjoy looking for polishes at Sephora? See you in the next post, have a nice day! ;)

Back to blogging with sparkly green ;)

Oh hello there! :) So what happened is one of my nails broke and I had to wait for it to grow back since I really dont like how my nails look short. But I'm back now with this look which really turned out to be nothing like what I expected it to be. It's no.44 by 'Smart Girls get more' (very popular in Croatia since they're really cheap) and in the bottle it looked heavenly...like a galaxy in a bottle...but when I put it on (I put two layers) it just did not give the same effect. It was more blue than green, and the shimmer wasnt as stunning as it had looked in the bottle. Personally, when it comes to 'Smart girls' polishes, I use them for gradient manicures (they're great for that). Maybe this would look better over some darker polish, I'll have to try that in the future. Now what I dont like about this polish is the streakiness - observe:
Anyway, hopefully I'll have some more fun looks this week, I miss doing gradients and stamping and water marble...I am really looking forward to this fall ;) See you in the next post! *hug*
